Studio Berlin was a five week study abroad program in Berlin, Germany. There were nine students that participated in the study abroad program. The first two weeks were spent gathering research from specific sites of Germany located in the cities of Berlin and Dessau. Research was also gathered from a trip to Copenhagen, Denmark. Once our research was completed, as a team, we began to design concept forms for a temporary installation. Our hopes for this installation was to design something that would encourage interaction with the installation. We also wanted the form to be derived from our research as a way to connect our installation to its location in Berlin. Overall, the experience of this program is unforgettable.
